62 Year Old Explains How He Reversed Type 2 Diabetes Naturally -(Shows Real Numbers)

I’m Tony Jackson; 62 years old and 315 lbs when I started a planned journey to end Type 2 Diabetes naturally in 2016.

In this video, made in 2018, I show the progression of my HbA1c results as I improved safely and steadily from full-blown Diabetes Type 2 to a state of health that is much better than  most people who have never been diabetic or overweight. Many  people are satisfied with lowering blood sugar. I wasn’t. I wanted to reverse my type 2 Diabetes completely.

No medications, no supplements, no miracle foods, no gym memberships and no hunger! I did it 100% naturally. Strangely enough, I didn’t even follow a strict diet initially. Later I adopted one that fits my life these days.

This video shows my last 5 HbA1c results, or A1c results as some know it, as well as my OGTT results. That stands for Oral Glucose Tolerance Test.   Did you know the A1c is not an accurate measurement of how well you are doing?

There are 15 criteria identified in the case study  I needed to be part of any solution for it to work for me, including the need to not be hungry during the journey.

And the research, over 200 hours, that gave me the answers.

The plan I developed is simple, and it met all 15 criteria.
Plus I didn’t have to do it all at once.
I slowly progressed along the path, but even so, saw results almost immediately.
Most importantly, it enabled me to reverse my Type 2 Diabetes without the demoralizing experiences of diets — being cold, tired, miserable and most of all hungry. I avoided all of that. In actual fact, I experienced the opposite: a flood of energy, mentally very sharp, rarely hungry and never “urgently” hungry.

The 12 Pieces of the Puzzle Part 3 Reverse Diabetes (Breakthrough and Game Changers)

Because I needed to reverse Type 2 Diabetes naturally in 2016 and 2017 I first spent more than 200 hours researching the problem.
I knew I had to look outside the boundaries of the conventional treatment for diabetes type 2 because conventional treatment focused on managing diabetes; not reversing it.
I didn’t want to manage it.

Those 12 Pieces of the Puzzle covered a great deal of information. In the first 2 videos in this series I dealt with a lot of basics — conventional treatments for diabetes type 2; recommendations for diet and exercise and weight loss; the treatment of the symptoms aimed at how to lower blood sugar levels. The topics started to zero-in on insulin related issues.

I also covered some little known concepts that are fairly advanced. The 2nd video in the series  especially dealt with a concern and puzzle about my own HbA1c and blood sugar numbers. I needed to understand how something that seemed impossible had happened; this brought in issues around dietary habits and insulin resistance that almost no-one understands; the definition of “no-one” unfortunately includes the medical profession. Because they don’t understand this issue; nutrition specialists and doctors often make recommendations that are entirely contradictory to good health and can genuinely lead to serious illness and even death.

“Morbidly Obese” Vancouver Man Reverses Type 2 Diabetes and Drops 120 lbs Naturally

A Vancouver businessman, Tony Jackson, is one of the first to set out to independently get rid of  Type 2 Diabetes without medications — and succeed. Dining Out Without ‘Diet Cheating’

 

Article-Logo-300x106.pngEating out occasionally can be a nice alternative to cooking at home, but it can also throw your healthy lifestyle for a loop. Restaurant food is often delicious, but can also have hidden health consequences.

Here’s the good news – there are healthier choices that you can make while eating out.

Whether you’re trying to loose weight, manage high blood pressure or diabetes, follow these guidelines and your body will thank you later.

Go healthy…Most restaurants offer healthier, low salt alternatives on their menu. While most of us aren’t willing to order a grilled chicken salad every time we eat out (me included), we can still make small, but important changes.

Order vegetables, like broccoli, as your side instead of french fries. Also, take a break from fried fish and choose the ‘grilled’ for a change. You get the picture? These small changes add up.

Eat less. Many restaurants serve fairly large portion sizes. Use this to your advantage and share a main dish with a friend or only eat half and take the rest home. A healthier choice, plus you’ll save money at the same time.

Here’s another strategy – Since it can be tempting to eat everything on your plate, divide the food in half before you ever begin eating. Just push one half to the side and you’ll be ready when it’s time to ask for a ‘to go’ box.

Savor your food. Eat small bites and pay attention to the taste and texture. Chew slowly and thoroughly and try putting your fork down for a while between bites. Staying focused on your food may help you feel satisfied while eating a smaller amount as well. If you find this challenging, make sure to have plenty of interesting conversation planned for dinner. It’s difficult to eat and talk at the same time! This strategy has never let me down.

Say no to bread. It’s easy to scarf down multiple pieces of bread without even noticing, while you’re waiting for your meal. This can add many calories that you weren’t planning to consume.

Want to avoid the temptation altogether? If it’s okay with your friends or family, ask the server not to bring bread to the table, or only to bring one piece for each person.

Fruits and veggies are your friends. Try to make fruits and vegetables a significant part of your meal. Choose a side salad as one of your sides (it’s usually a choice). It will help satisfy your hunger, leaving you with leftovers and the yummy ‘to go’ box that I mentioned earlier (as well as a free lunch for the following day).

Final tip. Let’s say that you can’t help yourself and you pick the least healthy item on the menu every time. First of all, stop doing that…LOL. Secondly, how about making a deal with yourself to order steamed vegetables as a side. Oh, and not the ones that are sauteed in butter or covered with a heavy sauce.

Weight Loss Using Laxatives

One popular weight loss supplements available in the market today take the form of tea. Stores all over sell slimming tea, dieter’s tea and others but all of them are actually the same. They may appear to be effective, but what is not seen may actually harm you.

One of the effects of drinking dieter’s tea is frequent bowel movement. This gives people the feeling of body cleansing. These people may get toxins out of their body but it isn’t exactly the only thing that slimming tea actually does to the body. Slimming tea contains herbs which are natural laxatives. These include aloe, senna, rhubarb root, cascara, buckthorn and castor oil. These are products which are derived from plants and are used since the ancient times because of their potency in treating constipation and to inducing bowel movement.

Cascara, castor oil and senna are substances which are recognized as laxatives available over the counter and are also regulated as drugs. Scientific studies show that diarrhea induced by laxatives does not absorb significant amounts of calories taken in the body.

The reason for this is that laxatives do not act on the small intestines where most of the calories are absorbed. Instead, they work on the large intestines. If taken in large amounts for prolonged periods, it can affect fat absorption of the body. This may lead to greasy diarrhea and loss of weight. Abuse of laxatives is common practice among people who suffer from bulimia and anorexia nervosa.

While weight loss can be guaranteed by overdosing on laxatives, it may also cause permanent damage to the gastrointestinal tract and the weakening and softening of the bones, a condition known as osteomalacia. Drinkers of slimming teas may actually patronize the product because they are less expensive and taste better than other laxatives sold in the market. Other people, such as those with eating disorders like bulimia and anorexia nervosa drink dieter’s tea because they work fast and produce watery stool and having loose consistency.

Women may even be more susceptible to the effects of slimming teas. Although they may are not known to interfere directly with the woman’s menstrual cycle and fertility, they should watch out if drinking them causes them to rapidly shed off weight. It is also not safe for pregnant women to be taking in laxatives of any kind. Wise and responsible herbalists also discourage the use of senna and other herbal products with laxative properties for pregnant women and women who are trying to conceive.

One should be wary about these findings because the labeling of slimming teas in the market today can be absolutely misleading. For instance, they commonly refer to the laxative qualities as “natural bowel cleansing properties” and not specifically use the word “laxative”.Some even use the term “low-calorie” on their labelling. These products in fact, contain essentially no calories nor nutrients whatsoever; unless of course, if they are sweetened.

Adverse effects of misusing laxatives in the form of slimming tea generally occur when taken in more than or longer than recommended. These include nausea, stomach cramps, vomiting, diarrhea, fainting, rectal bleeding, electrolyte disorder and dehydration as well as injury and worse, death. It was also reported that excess use of stimulant laxatives cause severe constipation and pain for long periods (as much as for decades) due to the colon losing its function. It eventually led to surgery removing the colon altogether.
